Composition

Glibenclamide (5 Mg) + Metformin (500 Mg)

Diabetrol SR Tablet 10 is used to manage type 2 diabetes. It is a combination medicine containing glibenclamide and metformin, two antidiabetic medicines.

This medicine is used to control blood sugar levels when diet, exercise and a single medicine are not enough, especially in people with higher baseline HbA1c levels. It stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin and increases insulin sensitivity.

Before starting, tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems, or a history of low blood sugar, and about all other medicines you take.

Diabetrol SR Tablet 10 is used to manage type 2 diabetes.
