CompositionXpect-D Syrup is a combination medicine used for short-term relief of dry cough, throat irritation, sneezing, a runny nose and nasal congestion caused by the common cold or allergies. It belongs to the antihistamine, cough suppressant and decongestant classes.
It contains chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan and phenylephrine. Together, they suppress a dry cough, reduce allergy symptoms and ease a blocked nose.
Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor, using the supplied measuring cup. It may cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any heart disease, high blood pressure, glaucoma, urinary problems or other medicines you take. If it is prescribed for a child, give only the dose advised by the child's doctor.
