CompositionXl 90 + Sugar Free Syrup 100ml is used to relieve symptoms of the common cold, flu, and allergies, such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, itchy eyes, and throat irritation. It is a combination medicine containing an antihistamine, a decongestant, and a cough suppressant, and belongs to a class of medicines called antihistamine, decongestant and cough suppressant combinations.
This medicine works by easing allergy type symptoms such as sneezing and a runny nose with the antihistamine, clearing a blocked nose with the decongestant, and calming a dry cough with the cough suppressant. Shake the bottle well if needed and measure the dose with the measuring cup provided. It can cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or using machinery until you know how it affects you.
Drink plenty of water and warm fluids, get enough rest, and use a humidifier or steam to ease congestion. Avoiding smoke, dust, strong smells, and other known allergy triggers can also help.
Before giving or taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you or your child have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, an enlarged prostate, difficulty passing urine, glaucoma, or asthma, and about all other medicines, especially sedatives or other cold and cough products. Avoid alcohol as it can increase drowsiness, and speak to your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
