Pregdox OD 20mg/20mg Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing nausea and vomiting in pregnant women, commonly known as morning sickness.
• Providing relief from persistent symptoms of morning sickness despite dietary and lifestyle modifications.
• Preventing and managing nausea and vomiting during pregnancy (NVP), except for severe forms like hyperemesis gravidarum.
• Supplementing vitamin B6 to ensure nutritional balance during pregnancy.

Here's how you should take Pregdox OD 20mg/20mg Tablet :

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, without crushing, chewing, or splitting it.
• It is recommended to take this medicine on an empty stomach.
• The medicine should be taken at bedtime for optimal effect.
• For sustained symptom control, it should be taken daily, not just when you feel nauseous or vomit.
• Always consult your doctor before adjusting your dosage.

Pregdox OD 20mg/20mg Tablet contains two active components:

• Doxylamine (20 mg): This antihistamine works by targeting a region in your brain called the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ), which controls nausea and vomiting reflexes. By blocking certain chemical messengers in CTZ, doxylamine prevents the stimulation of the vomiting centre in your brain, reducing feelings of nausea and frequency of vomiting.
