Welminic LS Syrup is used to manage respiratory symptoms associated with bronchial asthma and chronic bronchitis. It helps open the airways, loosen mucus, and ease breathing difficulties like wheezing, cough, and chest tightness. Welminic LS Syrup contains three active ingredients that work together to alleviate the symptoms of respiratory disorders:

• Levosalbutamol (1 MG): Also known as levalbuterol, this bronchodilator works by selectively stimulating the beta-2 adrenergic receptors in the airway smooth muscles, causing them to relax. This action widens the airways, reduces resistance, and increases airflow. Levosalbutamol has a stronger bronchodilator effect than racemic salbutamol at the same dose.

• Ambroxol (30 MG): This mucolytic agent decreases the thickness of mucus secretions in the respiratory tract. It breaks down the fibres in sticky sputum, making it thinner and easier to expel. Additionally, ambroxol increases mucociliary transport and stimulates surfactant production.

• Guaifenesin (50 MG): As an expectorant, guaifenesin increases the output of phlegm and bronchial secretions by reducing their adhesiveness and surface tension. The resulting flow of less viscous secretions promotes ciliary action, transforming a dry cough into one that is more productive and less frequent.
