Welminic Ls Syrup 100ml

Welminic LS Syrup is used for managing the following conditions:

• Bronchial asthma (Inflammation of airways making them narrow and swollen leading to production of extra mucus).

• Chronic bronchitis (Inflammation of airways causing cough often with mucus production).

Administer Welminic LS Syrup as follows:

• Shake the bottle well before use.

• Use a measuring cup or spoon for accurate dosing.

• This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Welminic LS Syrup is taken orally.

Welminic LS Syrup contains three active ingredients that work together to alleviate the symptoms of respiratory disorders:

• Levosalbutamol (1 MG): Also known as levalbuterol, this bronchodilator works by selectively stimulating the beta-2 adrenergic receptors in the airway smooth muscles, causing them to relax. This action widens the airways, reduces resistance, and increases airflow. Levosalbutamol has a stronger bronchodilator effect than racemic salbutamol at the same dose.

• Ambroxol (30 MG): This mucolytic agent decreases the thickness of mucus secretions in the respiratory tract. It breaks down the fibres in sticky sputum, making it thinner and easier to expel. Additionally, ambroxol increases mucociliary transport and stimulates surfactant production.

• Guaifenesin (50 MG): As an expectorant, guaifenesin increases the output of phlegm and bronchial secretions by reducing their adhesiveness and surface tension. The resulting flow of less viscous secretions promotes ciliary action, transforming a dry cough into one that is more productive and less frequent.

• Keep Welminic LS Syrup at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, ideally in a cool, dry place.

• Shield it from direct sunlight and heat exposure.

• Make sure to store this syrup out of reach of children.
