Viltab 50/500 Mg Tablet Er 10

VILTAB 50/500 MG TABLET ER 10 is used to manage type 2 diabetes.
 

• Take the whole tablet with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or break before taking as it will reduce the efficacy of the medicine.
• Take it with or without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

VILTAB 50/500 MG TABLET ER 10 is taken orally. 
 

VILTAB 50/500 MG TABLET ER 10 contains the following components:

• Metformin (500 mg): This ingredient reduces sugar production in the liver, decreases sugar absorption in the gut, and improves insulin sensitivity, which enhances glucose uptake and utilisation by tissues like muscles.
• Vildagliptin (50 mg): It is a DPP-4 inhibitor which promptly and entirely inhibits DPP-4 activity. This inhibition leads to elevated fasting and postprandial levels of endogenous incretin hormones, including GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide 1) and GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide).

• VILTAB 50/500 MG TABLET ER 10 should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.
