CompositionCILIX 10 Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It is a single-ingredient calcium channel blocker containing cilnidipine.
It helps lower the risk of long-term complications such as stroke and heart attack and may help protect the heart and kidneys. Take it with or without food, at the same time each day, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue it even when you feel well, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms.
Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice, which can affect how this medicine works. Reduce salt (pickles, papad, chips, packaged snacks), stay physically active, keep to a healthy weight and limit alcohol to support blood pressure control.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have heart problems, liver disease or low blood pressure, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report persistent swelling of the ankles or strong dizziness. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
