Veltam DFZ Capsule is used to treat kidney stones and alleviate urinary tract discomfort. It contains tamsulosin, which relaxes the muscles in the urinary tract to facilitate easier stone passage, and deflazacort, which helps reduce inflammation in the kidneys. This combination works to relieve pain, support urinary health, and improve overall comfort during treatment.

• This capsule should be taken orally at the same time each day for best results.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing, chewing or opening the capsule.

• It is recommended to take this medicine with food to prevent potential stomach upset.

Veltam-DFZ Capsule functions through the combined action of its two active ingredients:

• Deflazacort (30 mg): As a corticosteroid, deflazacort works by reducing inflammation in the kidneys. This reduction in swelling assists the passage of kidney stones through urine.

• Tamsulosin (0.4 mg): This ingredient is an alpha-blocker. It relaxes the smooth muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland. In doing so, it improves urine flow, thereby aiding the passage of kidney stones.

• Store Veltam-DFZ Capsule at room temperature, ideally below 30 degrees Celsius.

• Keep the medicine away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture to maintain its efficacy.

• Always keep this medication out of reach of children for their safety.

• Ensure you use the medicine before its expiry date.

• Opt for a diet rich in fluids such as water and fresh fruit juices. This can help in managing kidney stones by promoting regular urine flow and facilitating the passage of stones.
