Veltam Dfz Capsule 10

Veltam-DFZ Capsule is used for the following:

• Management of kidney stones

• Facilitation of better urine flow during kidney stone management

• Reduction of inflammation in the kidneys and urinary tract

• Easing discomfort caused by urinary conditions

• This capsule should be taken orally at the same time each day for best results.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing, chewing or opening the capsule.

• It is recommended to take this medicine with food to prevent potential stomach upset.

Veltam-DFZ Capsule is taken orally.

Veltam-DFZ Capsule functions through the combined action of its two active ingredients:

• Deflazacort (30 mg): As a corticosteroid, deflazacort works by reducing inflammation in the kidneys. This reduction in swelling assists the passage of kidney stones through urine.

• Tamsulosin (0.4 mg): This ingredient is an alpha-blocker. It relaxes the smooth muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland. In doing so, it improves urine flow, thereby aiding the passage of kidney stones.

• Store Veltam-DFZ Capsule at room temperature, ideally below 30 degrees Celsius.

• Keep the medicine away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture to maintain its efficacy.

• Always keep this medication out of reach of children for their safety.

• Ensure you use the medicine before its expiry date.

• Opt for a diet rich in fluids such as water and fresh fruit juices. This can help in managing kidney stones by promoting regular urine flow and facilitating the passage of stones.

• Try to avoid high-sodium foods. Excessive sodium can lead to accumulation of more calcium in your kidneys, increasing the risk of stones. Implementing a low-sodium diet can therefore assist in managing kidney stones effectively.
