Valfect H 80/12.5 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Prevention of stroke and heart attacks

• Reduction of excess fluid in the body

• Management of heart failure

• Protection of kidney function in hypertensive patients

• Lowering risk of cardiovascular complications

• Regulation of blood vessel compression

• Control of persistent high blood pressure

Follow these instructions while taking Valfect H 80/12.5 MG Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Take it at the same time each day, preferably in the morning.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• Get up slowly from a sitting or lying position to avoid dizziness.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Valfect H 80/12.5 MG Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Valfect H 80/12.5 MG Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Valsartan (80 mg): This component is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents a hormone called angiotensin II from narrowing your blood vessels. By blocking these receptors, valsartan helps relax and widen your blood vessels, which improves blood flow and reduces the workload on your heart.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This is a thiazide diuretic or "water pill" that increases urine production. It works on your kidneys to remove excess salt and water from your body, which decreases the volume of fluid in your blood vessels and helps lower your blood pressure.

• Store Valfect H 80/12.5 MG Tablet 10 at room temperature below 30°C.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed and protect it from moisture.

• Store away from direct sunlight in a dry place.

• Keep out of reach and sight of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the packaging.

• Reduce your salt intake by avoiding processed foods and not adding extra salt to meals, as excess sodium can worsen high blood pressure (hypertension).

• Stay physically active with regular moderate exercise like brisk walking for 30 minutes daily, which helps lower blood pressure naturally by improving heart strength and circulation.
