Solifenacin (6 Mg) + Tamsulosin (0.4 Mg)

Urimax S Tablet 15 is used to manage moderate to severe storage and voiding symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adult men. It is a combination medicine that belongs to the class of antimuscarinic and alpha-blocker medicines.

This medicine helps reduce urinary urgency, increased urinary frequency, and other storage symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia. It also helps improve urine flow and facilitates bladder emptying.

Inform your doctor before starting this medicine if you have liver disease, kidney disease, glaucoma, urinary retention, digestive disorders, low blood pressure, or if you are taking any other medicines. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor and continue taking it for the duration advised. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist, worsen, or if any side effects occur during treatment.

Urimax S Tablet 15 is used to:

Manage moderate to severe storage and voiding symptoms associated with BPH
Reduce urinary urgency
Reduce increased urinary frequency
Improve urinary flow and bladder emptying in men with BPH

Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Swallow the tablet whole with water.
Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.
This medicine may be taken with or without food.
Take the medicine at the same time each day.

Urimax S Tablet 15 may cause side effects such as:

Dry mouth
Constipation
Indigestion
Nausea
Dizziness

Management Of Side Effects:

Dry mouth: Sipping water regularly or chewing sugar-free gum may help relieve dryness of the mouth.
Nausea: Taking the medicine after food may help reduce feelings of nausea.
Constipation: Increasing dietary fibre intake and maintaining adequate fluid intake may help improve bowel movements.

Urimax S Tablet 15 contains the following ingredients:

Solifenacin (6 mg): It is an antimuscarinic medicine that blocks muscarinic receptors present in the bladder. This reduces involuntary bladder contractions, increases bladder storage capacity, and decreases symptoms such as urinary urgency and increased urinary frequency.
Tamsulosin (0.4 mg): It is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor blocker that relaxes the smooth muscles of the prostate, bladder neck, and urethra. This improves urine flow and helps reduce symptoms associated with bladder outlet obstruction caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Pregnancy

Urimax S Tablet 15 is not indicated for use in women.

Breastfeeding

Urimax S Tablet 15 is not indicated for use in women.

Alcohol

Alcohol may increase the risk of dizziness or light-headedness in some patients. Consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking this medicine.

Liver

Do not take this medicine if you have severe liver disease. Patients with moderate liver disease should use this medicine only under medical supervision. Inform your doctor if you have any liver-related condition before starting treatment.

Kidney

Do not take this medicine if you have severe kidney disease and are receiving certain medicines that reduce its elimination from the body. Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease before starting treatment.

Use In Driving And Operating Machinery
