Ultracet Tablet may interact with the following medications.

• Antihypertensive medications like amlodipine: It may reduce the antihypertensive effects of medications like amlodipine, potentially leading to increased blood pressure.
• Anti-epileptic medications like carbamazepine: It may lower the seizure threshold when used in conjunction with anti-epileptic medications like carbamazepine, increasing the risk of seizures.
• Antiarrhythmic agent such as quinidine: The concomitant use may increase concentrations of this tablet.
• Other medications like selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs): The combination of this medication and SSRIs can result in serotonin syndrome, a potentially life-threatening condition characterised by symptoms like agitation, confusion, rapid heart rate, and high blood pressure.

Ultracet Tablet can interact with the following diseases:

• Respiratory depression: This medication may exacerbate respiratory depression in patients with respiratory diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or asthma. This interaction can lead to breathing difficulties.
• Seizure disorders: It can lower the seizure threshold, increasing the risk of seizures. 
• Liver disease: The acetaminophen component of this tablet can be harmful to the liver, and dosage adjustments or alternative pain relief methods may be necessary.
• Kidney disease: Tramadol in this tablet and its metabolites are excreted through the kidneys. Dosing adjustments may be required to prevent the accumulation of tramadol metabolites in the bloodstream.
• Psychiatric disorders: It may impact patients with psychiatric disorders, such as depression. It can potentially worsen symptoms or contribute to mood changes.

The recommended dose of Ultracet Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as the severity of the condition and response to treatment. It is essential to follow the prescribed dosage and should not exceed it without a doctor’s consultation. 

If you or someone else takes an excessive amount of Ultracet Tablet by accident, it is essential to take immediate medical attention from your doctor or nearby hospital. Overdose symptoms are breathing difficulties, drowsiness, slowed heartbeat, inability to wake up and muscle weakness. 

If you forgot to take an Ultracet Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. If the time for the next dosage is close, it is recommended to skip the missed one and resume your regular dosage pattern. Never increase your dosage without consulting the doctor.
