Sibelium 10 Tablet is a medicine used to prevent recurrent migraine headaches and to manage certain types of vertigo (a sensation of spinning or dizziness). It is intended for long-term prevention and is not used to treat a migraine attack that has already started.
It contains flunarizine, a calcium channel blocker. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor and do not stop it suddenly without medical advice, as this may allow symptoms to return. It is usually taken at bedtime to reduce the effect of daytime drowsiness.
Maintaining a regular sleep schedule, staying well hydrated, and avoiding known migraine triggers such as bright lights, strong smells, stress, and irregular meals can help support the effectiveness of this medicine during treatment.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have a history of depression, Parkinson's disease, or movement disorders, as this medicine may not be suitable in those cases. Inform your doctor if you notice unusual weight gain, low mood, or any involuntary movements during treatment. This medicine may cause drowsiness, so use caution when driving or operating machinery.
