Ulpan Tablet 15

Ulpan 40 Tablet is used to manage excessive stomach acid and protect the stomach and food pipe lining from acid damage.

Uses of Ulpan 40 Tablet are:

• GERD and Acid Reflux: Relieves heartburn, acid regurgitation, and chest discomfort caused by acid reflux.
• Peptic Ulcers: Helps treat and prevent ulcers in the stomach and upper intestine.
• Esophagitis: Promotes healing of inflammation in the food pipe caused by stomach acid.

Here are the instructions to follow while taking Ulpan Tablet 15:

1. Swallow Panrux 40 Tablet whole with water, about an hour before a meal (usually breakfast), as your doctor prescribes.
2. Do not split, chew or crush the tablet, and keep taking it for the full course even if you feel better.
3. Tell your doctor if you have any concerns.

Ulpan Tablet 15 is taken by mouth.

Ulpan Tablet 15 contains Pantoprazole 40 mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by:

• Blocking the acid pump in the stomach lining, which produces stomach acid.
• Lowering the amount of acid eases heartburn and reflux and lets the stomach and food pipe heal.

1. Store Ulpan Tablet 15 below 30°C, away from light and moisture.
2. Keep it out of the reach and sight of children.
3. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
4. Return any unused or expired medicine to your pharmacist for safe disposal.

• Avoid trigger foods (spicy, fatty, or fried), eat smaller meals, and do not lie down or eat late within 2 to 3 hours of bed.
• Keep to a healthy weight, limit alcohol and avoid smoking, which all worsen reflux. Raising the head of the bed can help with nighttime symptoms.
• If you take Ulpan Tablet 15 long term, your doctor may check your magnesium, vitamin B12 and bone health, and will aim for the lowest dose for the shortest time needed.
