Tritelsar 80 Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of hypertension in adults

• Use when dual combination therapy is ineffective in managing high blood pressure

Follow these instructions while taking Tritelsar 80 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing or chewing it.

• It can be taken with or without food, but ensure you take it at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level of the medicine in your body.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it's close to your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.

• Always consult your doctor for specific advice about how to use this medicine.

Tritelsar 80 Tablet is taken orally.

Tritelsar 80 Tablet comprises three active ingredients that work together to control high blood pressure:

• Chlorthalidone (6.25 mg): This thiazide-like diuretic helps your body to get rid of extra water and sodium. This reduces blood volume and lowers blood pressure. Additionally, it helps relax blood vessels, providing another way to manage high blood pressure.

• Amlodipine (5 mg): As a calcium channel blocker, amlodipine works by reducing the influx of calcium into the smooth muscle cells in your blood vessels. This action relaxes and widens the blood vessels, which helps to improve blood flow and reduce blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (80 mg): Telmisartan blocks the action of a molecule called angiotensin II. This molecule usually causes blood vessels to narrow and prompts your body to retain salt and water. By blocking its effects, telmisartan helps to widen your blood vessels and reduce fluid retention, thus lowering your blood pressure.
