Torsinex Plus Tablet is used to manage fluid build-up and swelling in the body, a condition known as oedema. It is a diuretic medicine, commonly called a water tablet.
It also helps manage resistant hypertension, a type of high blood pressure that does not respond well to usual treatment, and primary hyperaldosteronism, where the adrenal glands produce too much of the hormone aldosterone. Take it orally in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Complete the full duration prescribed.
Follow the salt and fluid advice given by your doctor, and cut down on pickles, papad and packaged snacks. Rise slowly from a sitting position to avoid dizziness.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, gout, diabetes or low blood pressure, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report muscle weakness, cramps, marked dizziness, or extreme thirst. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
