Terol LA 2 Capsule is used to manage overactive bladder in adults, reducing the sudden, uncontrollable urge to urinate, urinary frequency and urge incontinence. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing tolterodine tartrate in a long-acting capsule, and belongs to a class of medicines called antimuscarinics.
This long-acting form gives sustained bladder muscle relaxation throughout the day with a single dose. Swallow it whole as prescribed at the same time each day. Do not crush or chew the capsule. Use the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Limiting caffeine and alcohol, which worsen bladder urgency, maintaining normal fluid intake throughout the day, and attending follow-up appointments support bladder management alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any untreated angle-closure glaucoma, urinary retention or difficulty emptying the bladder, severe constipation, myasthenia gravis, or kidney or liver problems before starting this medicine, and about any other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Report any side effects that persist or become serious. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
