Tenormin 25 Tablet is primarily used to manage hypertension, or high blood pressure. It is a non-combination medication and belongs to a group of medicines known as beta-blockers.

In addition to managing high blood pressure, this tablet is also used for the long-term control of angina pectoris, which is chest pain due to coronary atherosclerosis. It helps manage acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as heart attack, by reducing cardiovascular mortality in patients who are hemodynamically stable. Moreover, it is used to control certain types of abnormal heart rhythms known as arrhythmias.

Tenormin 25 Tablet is used for managing the following health conditions:

High blood pressure, also known as hypertension
Chest pain due to blocked blood vessels, a condition called angina pectoris
Stabilisation after a heart attack, or acute myocardial infarction
Certain types of irregular heart rhythms, known as arrhythmias
