Teneligold Pio 20/15 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults

Follow these instructions while taking Teneligold Pio 20/15 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

Teneligold Pio 20/15 Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Teneligliptin (20 mg): As a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, teneligliptin prevents the breakdown of incretin hormones in your body. These hormones naturally increase insulin release after meals and reduce glucagon (a hormone that raises blood sugar). Preserving these hormones helps maintain proper insulin secretion when glucose levels rise.

• Pioglitazone (15 mg): This component belongs to the thiazolidinedione class that activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-gamma (PPAR-gamma), which increases insulin sensitivity in muscle and fat cells.
