Tacvido Forte Cream is used for managing the health conditions listed below:

• Assisting with short-term and intermittent long-term therapy of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema.

• Providing relief in cases where conventional therapies are not advisable due to potential risks.

• Helping patients who do not respond well to or are intolerant of alternative, conventional therapies.

To use Tacvido Forte Cream correctly, please follow these instructions:

• Before applying the cream, make sure the affected skin area is clean and dry.

• Gently rub a thin layer of the cream onto the affected areas as directed by the dermatologist.

• You can use this cream on all skin surfaces, including your head, neck, and areas where two skin areas touch or rub together.

• Do not cover the cream with any dressings after application.

• Replace the cap tightly.

Tacvido Forte Cream is applied topically.

Tacvido Forte Cream contains Tacrolimus (0.1 %) which works on your body in the following ways:

• Inhibition of T-lymphocyte Activation: Tacrolimus first binds to a protein inside your cells called FKBP-12. This pairing inhibits an enzyme called calcineurin, which is activated by calcium.

• Reduction of Inflammation: By inhibiting calcineurin, tacrolimus prevents the formation of certain substances like interleukin-2 and gamma interferon that usually cause inflammation in your skin.

• Store Tacvido Forte Cream at room temperature, specifically not exceeding 25°C.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight or freezing temperatures.

• Ensure the cream is stored in a location that is not accessible to children.

• For managing atopic dermatitis, try to avoid foods that may trigger an allergic reaction, such as dairy products, eggs, nuts, seeds, soy products, and wheat. Consult your doctor for personalised advice.

• Maintain good skin hygiene, but avoid hot water baths or showers as they can dry out your skin. Instead, opt for lukewarm water and moisturise your skin regularly to prevent dryness and irritation.
