Solitral Capsule 10 is used in adult men to relieve the urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia) along with an overactive bladder, such as a weak stream, urgency and frequent urination.
It combines an alpha-blocker, which relaxes the muscle of the prostate and bladder neck to improve urine flow, with an antimuscarinic, which calms an overactive bladder.
Take it regularly as prescribed. It is for ongoing treatment and does not relieve sudden inability to pass urine.
The first doses can cause dizziness on standing, so rise slowly. Tell your doctor about any glaucoma or difficulty fully emptying the bladder before use, and mention this medicine before cataract surgery.

Pregnancy
Solitral Capsule 10 is intended for use in adult men and is not indicated for women.
Breastfeeding
This medicine is not intended for use in women.
Alcohol
Alcohol may increase the risk of dizziness and low blood pressure. Limiting alcohol intake is advised during treatment.
Liver
Use with caution in patients with liver impairment. Solitral Capsule 10 is contraindicated in severe liver dysfunction, and regular monitoring may be required.
Kidney
