Seroflo 100 Rotacaps is used to provide long-term management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It is a combination medicine containing fluticasone propionate (a corticosteroid) and salmeterol (a long-acting bronchodilator).
It helps control wheezing, coughing and shortness of breath, and works to prevent symptoms rather than relieve a sudden attack. Use the rotacap with the inhaler device as shown by your doctor or pharmacist, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Do not swallow the rotacap, and rinse your mouth with water afterwards.
Avoid known triggers such as smoke, dust and cold air, keep to a healthy weight and stay active as able. Keep a reliever inhaler with you at all times.
Before using, tell your doctor if you have heart problems, high blood pressure or thyroid problems, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you use. Tell your doctor if your symptoms worsen or you need your reliever inhaler more often. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop using the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
