This medicine is prescribed for adults with chronic kidney disease, whether they are on dialysis (a procedure that filters waste from the blood when the kidneys fail) or not. Take it on an empty stomach. Do not eat for at least one hour before and two hours after taking the dose.
Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor about any pre-existing medical conditions, particularly if you have a history of heart disease, blood clots, cancer, or eye problems.
