Rowasa 2gm Sachet 1 is used to treat and control inflammation of the large bowel in ulcerative colitis.

Follow these instructions while using Rowasa 2gm Sachet 1:

• Empty the contents of one sachet into a small glass of cold water.

• Stir well until completely dissolved.

• Drink the mixture immediately after preparation.

• Do not chew or swallow the powder directly without mixing it with water.

• Take the medicine at regular intervals as advised by your doctor.

Rowasa 2gm Sachet 1 contains mesalazine (2 gm), which works on the body as follows:

• Anti-inflammatory action: Mesalazine inhibits the production of inflammatory substances called prostaglandins and leukotrienes in the intestinal lining, helping to reduce inflammation locally in the bowel.
