ROSAWAL EZ 10 TABLET 10 is used for managing high levels of LDL cholesterol ("bad" cholesterol). It is prescribed to decrease the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular events in patients with existing heart disease or multiple risk factors, and for lowering high cholesterol levels caused by genetic conditions like familial hypercholesterolaemia.

Follow these instructions while taking ROSAWAL EZ 10 TABLET 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or split the tablet.

• You can take it with or without food.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly for it to be most effective.

• Consult your doctor for specific advice about your treatment.

ROSAWAL EZ 10 TABLET 10 is taken orally.

ROSAWAL EZ 10 TABLET 10 contains two active ingredients that work together to lower cholesterol:

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): This is classified as a statin that works by blocking an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase. This enzyme plays a key role in cholesterol production in your liver. By inhibiting this enzyme, rosuvastatin reduces the amount of cholesterol your body makes naturally.

• Ezetimibe (10 mg): This component works by blocking the absorption of cholesterol in your intestines. It inhibits a specific transport protein that normally helps move dietary and bile cholesterol from your intestines into your bloodstream, thereby reducing the amount of cholesterol delivered to your liver.
