Rizact 10 Md Peppermint Flavour Tablet 4 is used for the following:

• Treating acute migraine attacks
• Managing migraine headaches with aura
• Relieving migraine headaches without aura
• Easing migraine-related pain and discomfort
• Reducing sensitivity to light during migraines
• Decreasing sound sensitivity during migraine attacks
• Alleviating nausea associated with migraines
• Addressing migraine symptoms in adults

Follow these instructions while taking Rizact 10 Md Peppermint Flavour Tablet 4:

• Place one tablet on your tongue. Allow it to disintegrate and swallow the saliva. 
• Take the tablet with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor.
• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.
• Wait at least 2 hours before taking another tablet if your migraine returns.
• Do not take this medicine to prevent migraines; use it only during an attack.
• Consult your doctor if you are unsure about how to use this medicine properly.

Rizact 10 Md Peppermint Flavour Tablet 4 contains Rizatriptan (10 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Serotonin Receptor Binding: Rizatriptan selectively attaches to specific serotonin receptors (5-HT1B/1D) located on blood vessels in the brain and on sensory nerves of the trigeminal system.
• Blood vessel constriction: By activating these receptors, rizatriptan causes the abnormally dilated blood vessels in the brain to narrow, which helps reduce the pain signals that cause migraine headaches.
• Neuropeptide inhibition: Rizatriptan blocks the release of inflammatory substances called neuropeptides from nerve endings, which helps reduce inflammation and pain transmission in the brain.
• Symptom relief: Through these combined actions, rizatriptan effectively alleviates typical migraine symptoms such as headache pain, nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound.
