CompositionRivamer 3 Capsule is used to manage symptoms of mild to moderate dementia in Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. It does not cure dementia, but it may help maintain or improve memory, thinking, and daily function for a period of time.
It contains rivastigmine, a cholinesterase inhibitor. It increases acetylcholine levels in the brain, supporting communication between nerve cells involved in memory and learning.
Give or take the capsule with food exactly as prescribed by the doctor. A caregiver should supervise dosing and watch for changes in appetite, weight, behaviour, or side effects.
Tell the doctor about heart-rhythm problems, stomach ulcers, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or urinary obstruction before treatment.
