Rhinomont Tablet 10 interacts with the following medicines:

• Central Nervous System (CNS) depressants: Levocetirizine, a component of Rhinomont Tablet 10, may enhance the sedative effect of CNS depressants. Caution should be taken in cases of specific medications such as barbiturates like phenobarbital and methohexital; benzodiazepines like alprazolam and diazepam; and sedatives like zolpidem and eszopiclone.
• Cytochrome P-450 CYP2C8 substrates: Montelukast, another ingredient of Rhinomont Tablet 10, may interact with the medicines metabolised by this enzyme. Examples include warfarin, rosiglitazone, and repaglinide.

There are no specific foods that you need to avoid while taking this medicine.

Rhinomont Tablet 10 interacts with the following diseases:

• Severe kidney impairment: Levocetirizine is excreted by the kidneys. In patients with severe kidney impairment, the clearance of levocetirizine is decreased, leading to its accumulation.
• Severe liver impairment: Montelukast is extensively metabolised in the liver. In patients with severe liver impairment, caution is advised due to potential alterations in its metabolism.
• Neuropsychiatric disorders: Montelukast has been associated with neuropsychiatric events. Patients with a history of such events should exercise caution when using this medication.

The daily dose of Rhinomont Tablet 10 should be taken as advised by your doctor. The dosage is based on the severity of your condition and how you respond to the medication. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and never exceed it without consulting your doctor.

If you accidentally take more than the prescribed dose of Rhinomont Tablet 10, you might experience symptoms like restlessness, agitation, or excessive sleepiness. If these symptoms persist, notify your doctor.

In case you forget to take your regular dose of Rhinomont Tablet 10, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's nearly time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and continue with your regular schedule. Don't increase your dosage without consulting your doctor.
