Relysal Lotion 30ml is used to soothe skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, and lichen planus. It helps reduce inflammation, itching, and discomfort, which may help relieve inflammatory skin symptoms and support healing in corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.

• Always ensure your hands are clean before touching the lotion.
• Gently wash the affected skin area with a mild soapless cleanser.
• Apply a thin film of the amount of lotion to the affected area.
• Rub the lotion gently into your skin until it is fully absorbed.
• Avoid covering the treated area with bandages or tight clothing unless your doctor advises you to do so.

The activity of this lotion is attributed to two active ingredients:

• Clobetasol Propionate (0.05%): This potent synthetic fluorinated corticosteroid shows effective anti-inflammatory and antipruritic properties. Its function involves inducing proteins known as lipocortins that inhibit phospholipase A2, an enzyme involved in producing inflammation mediators such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes. By preventing the release of arachidonic acid, which is a precursor for these mediators, clobetasol propionate reduces inflammation and relieves symptoms associated with skin disorders.
• Salicylic Acid (3%): Acting as a keratolytic agent, salicylic acid helps soften and loosen dry or thickened skin, facilitating easy shedding. It enhances moisture in the skin and dissolves the intercellular cement that holds skin cells together. This action promotes skin exfoliation, unclogs pores, and aids in healing skin lesions.

• Store Relysal Lotion 30ml at a normal room temperature, ideally around 20° to 25°C.
• Keep it away from direct light, heat, and moisture to ensure its efficacy.
