Rapact 5 MG Tablet 10 is used to manage certain types of advanced cancers when other treatments have failed. It belongs to a class of medications known as kinase inhibitors, which work by targeting specific proteins involved in cancer growth.
This medicine is also prescribed for preventing organ rejection in kidney transplant patients. Additionally, it can be used to manage certain benign brain tumours associated with a condition called tuberous sclerosis complex, as well as advanced neuroendocrine tumours that originate in the pancreas, stomach, intestines or lungs, and advanced kidney cancer when other therapies have been ineffective.
Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor about any pre-existing conditions you may have, especially liver or kidney disease, diabetes, high cholesterol or active infections. Report any side effects you experience during treatment to your doctor promptly. Continue taking the medicine for the full duration prescribed by your doctor to achieve optimal results.
