Ranitas Injection 2ml is used to treat stomach and duodenal ulcers, acid reflux (GERD), and rare conditions like Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. This medicine works by reducing the amount of stomach acid that causes pain, heartburn, and irritation, thereby helping ulcers heal and easing discomfort. It also helps heal inflammation in the food pipe and reduces symptoms from rare causes of excessive stomach acid.

Ranitas Injection 2ml contains the following component:

• Ranitidine (25 mg): It is a histamine h2 antagonist that inhibits the action of histamine on stomach cells. Doing so reduces the production of gastric acid to manage various gastrointestinal issues related to excess stomach acid. This acid-suppressing action reduces the symptoms of hypersecretory conditions such as ulcers, GERD, and zollinger-ellison syndrome. Also, it helps the healing of the stomach.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Eat smaller, more frequent meals to avoid excessive stress on your digestive system.
• Avoid spicy, acidic, fatty, and fried foods till your stomach heals.
• Limit caffeine and alcohol intake, which can stimulate acid production and worsen symptoms.
• Eat slowly, chew thoroughly, and avoid overeating to aid digestion and prevent discomfort.
• To prevent nighttime acid reflux, try to finish eating at least 2-3 hours before bedtime.
• Incorporate bananas into your diet. Bananas are gentle on the stomach and can help absorb excess stomach acid.
