CompositionAciloc Injection is used to treat and manage severe acid-related disorders of the stomach and digestive tract. It is commonly prescribed for duodenal ulcers, stomach ulcers, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and erosive oesophagitis.
It contains ranitidine, an H2-receptor antagonist that reduces the amount of acid produced by the stomach, giving damaged tissue a chance to heal. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse, and the dose and frequency will be decided by your care team.
Eating smaller, more frequent meals, avoiding spicy, oily or acidic foods, limiting caffeine and fizzy drinks, and not lying down immediately after eating can support your stomach health alongside this treatment.
Before this medicine is given, tell your doctor if you have a history of kidney disease, liver disorders, or a rare blood condition called porphyria, and about all other medicines you take. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
