Rabium-DSR Capsule is used to manage acid-related stomach problems, including gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, gastritis and excessive acid production. It helps relieve heartburn, indigestion, bloating and stomach discomfort, and controls associated nausea and vomiting.
It contains rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that reduces stomach acid, and domperidone SR, which helps the stomach empty more effectively. Take it on an empty stomach before meals as prescribed, and swallow the capsule whole; do not crush or open it. Continue for the full course recommended by your doctor.
Eating smaller, more frequent meals, avoiding spicy, fatty or acidic foods, and not lying down immediately after eating can support treatment. Reducing caffeine and alcohol intake and quitting smoking can also help reduce acid-related symptoms.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver problems, heart rhythm problems, or are taking other medicines, as domperidone can interact with certain drugs. Long-term use of rabeprazole may affect magnesium and vitamin B12 levels. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before use.
