Rabium-20 Tablet is used to treat conditions caused by excess stomach acid, including acid reflux, heartburn, peptic ulcers and stomach pain. It helps relieve these symptoms and supports healing of the stomach lining.
It contains rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). Take the tablet whole, usually before a meal, as prescribed. Continue taking it as prescribed, even if you start to feel better, to allow the stomach lining time to heal fully.
Avoiding foods and drinks that trigger acid reflux, such as spicy or fatty foods, caffeine and alcohol, can help manage symptoms. Eating smaller, more frequent meals and avoiding lying down soon after eating may also provide relief.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any liver problems, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Contact your doctor if you notice unexplained weight loss, difficulty swallowing, or persistent vomiting, as these may need further investigation. Long-term use may require monitoring of magnesium and vitamin B12 levels.
