CompositionQuicnac 600 Effervescent Tablet is used to loosen and clear thick mucus in chest conditions such as chronic bronchitis, emphysema, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis and pneumonia, making a chesty cough easier.
It contains acetylcysteine, a mucolytic. It works by breaking down the thick mucus in the airways so it can be cleared more easily.
Dissolve the tablet in water and take it as prescribed. Drinking plenty of fluids helps thin the mucus further.
Tell your doctor about any asthma or stomach ulcers before use. Stop and seek urgent help for a severe rash, or swelling of the face or throat and difficulty breathing, which can rarely signal a serious allergic reaction.
