Pyrimon-DF Eye Drops are used to treat bacterial eye infections and associated inflammation. They provide relief from redness, swelling, and irritation caused by infection. By combining an antibiotic with a corticosteroid, these drops help control infection and reduce inflammation in the eye.
These drops contain Moxifloxacin, a broad-spectrum antibiotic, and Difluprednate, a corticosteroid. Moxifloxacin works by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication, while Difluprednate reduces inflammation by suppressing the immune response. This helps reduce symptoms and the risk of inflammatory damage to ocular tissues.
Wash your hands before use and instill the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye as directed by your ophthalmologist. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface or your eye to maintain sterility. If you use other eye medications, wait at least 5 to 10 minutes between applications. Inform your doctor if you experience persistent blurred vision or increased eye pressure.
