PEAKHALE SF 50/250 MCG INHALER 120 MDI is used for the following:

• Long-term asthma management in adults

• Control of persistent asthma symptoms

• Maintenance treatment for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

• Management of emphysema symptoms

Follow these instructions while using PEAKHALE SF 50/250 MCG INHALER 120 MDI:

• Open the Accuhaler device by sliding the outer cover until you hear a click.

• Hold the Accuhaler horizontally while using it.

• Slide the lever until it clicks to prepare a dose.

• Breathe out fully before placing the mouthpiece between your lips.

• Inhale steadily and deeply through the device.

• Remove the Accuhaler and hold your breath for about 10 seconds.

• Rinse your mouth with water after each use to prevent thrush.

• Store your Accuhaler in a dry place at room temperature.

• Consult your doctor if you need help using this device correctly.

PEAKHALE SF 50/250 MCG INHALER 120 MDI contains two active ingredients:

• Fluticasone propionate (250 mcg): This is a synthetic corticosteroid that works by reducing inflammation in the airways. It suppresses the release of inflammatory substances from cells in your lungs, decreasing swelling, mucus production, and sensitivity of the airways.

• Salmeterol (50 mcg): This is a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) that relaxes the muscles surrounding your airways. It stimulates specific receptors called beta2-receptors on airway muscle cells, causing them to relax and allowing the airways to open wider for easier breathing.
