Pause Xt Tablet 10

Pause Xt Tablet 10 used in conditions requiring the control or prevention of excessive bleeding. It is prescribed to manage heavy periods (menorrhagia) and bleeding abnormalities following procedures like prostate or bladder surgery, and tooth removal (especially in haemophiliacs). It also helps control nosebleeds (epistaxis), bleeding inside the eye (hyphaema), and manages swelling in a hereditary disease called angioedema.

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with or without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

Pause Xt Tablet 10 is taken orally. 

Pause Xt Tablet 10 contains the following components: 

• Tranexamic acid (500 mg): It is an antifibrinolytic that works by inhibiting the breaking of blood clots, preventing excessive bleeding. It does this by blocking a specific enzyme that dissolves blood clots.
• Citrus bioflavonoids (150 mg): They contribute to blood vessel stability, reducing the likelihood of bleeding. They also have antioxidant properties that can help maintain vascular health.
• Menadione (20 mcg): It is a form of vitamin K essential for proper blood clotting. It helps the blood clotting factors in your body function effectively.
• Calcium (144 mg): It is vital for blood clotting. Tribasic calcium phosphate in this tablet ensures an adequate supply of calcium for this crucial process.

• Pause Xt Tablet 10 should be stored at room temperature, at 25C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Consume foods high in iron, like lean meats, leafy greens, beans, and fortified cereals, to combat anaemia caused by excessive bleeding.
• Alcohol and caffeine can exacerbate bleeding, so reduce alcohol and caffeine intake.
• Stress can exacerbate bleeding disorders, so practice relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation.
