Parkin 2 Tablet is used to manage tremors, muscle stiffness and rigidity in Parkinson's disease and to help control involuntary movement disorders caused by antipsychotic or other medicines (extrapyramidal symptoms) in adults.
It contains trihexyphenidyl (2 mg), an anticholinergic. Take it as prescribed; the dose is usually started low and increased gradually.
Keeping to all monitoring appointments and ensuring adequate fluid intake supports safe treatment alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any glaucoma, urinary retention, enlarged prostate, heart conditions or severe cognitive impairment before starting. Use with particular caution in elderly patients, who are more sensitive to anticholinergic effects. Report difficulty urinating, worsening confusion or fever in hot weather.
