Parkin 2 Tablet is used to manage tremor, muscle stiffness and rigidity in Parkinson's disease, and to control involuntary movements caused by antipsychotic or other medicines (extrapyramidal symptoms).
It contains trihexyphenidyl, an anticholinergic. It works by rebalancing the brain chemicals that control movement.
Take it as prescribed. The dose is usually started low and increased gradually.
Because it is anticholinergic, tell your doctor about any glaucoma, urinary difficulty, an enlarged prostate or memory problems before use. Older people are more sensitive to its effects. Report difficulty passing urine, worsening confusion or overheating in hot weather.
