Parkinta 2 Tablet contains Trihexyphenidyl, an anticholinergic medication used to treat symptoms of Parkinson's disease and medicine-induced movement disorders (extrapyramidal symptoms caused by certain psychiatric medications).
It works by blocking central cholinergic receptors and restoring the balance between dopamine and acetylcholine in the central nervous system. This helps reduce muscle stiffness, tremors, and poor muscle control.
Take Parkinta 2 exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually 2 to 3 times daily with or after meals to minimise stomach upset or dry mouth. Do not discontinue taking this medication abruptly, as withdrawal symptoms may occur.
Use caution when driving or operating machinery due to potential drowsiness or blurred vision. Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma, urinary retention, prostate enlargement, or gastrointestinal obstruction.
