• Antiretroviral medicines: Pantin Tablet may reduce the effectiveness of antiretroviral medications like atazanavir and nelfinavir, which are used to manage HIV/AIDS.

• Blood thinners: When taken together with blood thinners such as warfarin, Pantin Tablet could potentially increase the risk of bleeding.

• Antifungal medicines: The absorption of antifungal medicines like ketoconazole and itraconazole can be reduced when taken with Pantin Tablet, decreasing their effectiveness.

• Methotrexate: Pantin Tablet can increase the levels of methotrexate in the blood, potentially leading to more side effects.

• Heart medications: Taking Pantin Tablet alongside digoxin, a heart medication, could lead to an increased concentration of digoxin in the blood.

Pantin Tablet does not have any known significant interactions with food.

Pantin Tablet interacts with the following diseases:

• Liver disease: As Pantin Tablet is primarily metabolised by the liver, it should be used cautiously in patients with liver disease. The dosage may need to be adjusted for those with severe liver impairment.

• Bone fractures: Long-term use (more than 1 year) of Pantin Tablet may lead to an increased risk of fractures in the hip, wrist or spine, especially in older adults or those with osteoporosis.
