Pan It Capsule 10

Pan-IT Capsule is used for managing non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and functional dyspepsia, a digestive disorder causing discomfort or pain in the upper abdomen. It helps relieve heartburn and acid regurgitation, promoting better digestive health and providing relief from acid-related discomfort.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
• Ensure you do not chew, crush or open the capsule, as it might interfere with its sustained release properties.
• Take this medicine at least 30 minutes before a meal, preferably in the morning.

Pan-IT Capsule is taken orally.

Pan-IT Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Itopride (150 mg): As a prokinetic agent, itopride works by being a dopamine D2 receptor antagonist and inhibiting the enzyme acetylcholinesterase. These actions lead to an increase in the release of acetylcholine and a decrease in its degradation. The result is improved esophageal and gastric motility, enhanced lower esophageal sphincter pressure, accelerated gastric emptying, and improved gastroduodenal coordination.
• Pantoprazole (40 mg): Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system found in the gastric parietal cells. This enzyme plays a crucial part in acid secretion pathway. By binding to this enzyme, pantoprazole reduces acid secretion, increases intragastric pH, thus providing relief from acid-related symptoms.

Together, these two medications help manage GERD symptoms and provide relief from functional dyspepsia symptoms.

• Store the Pan-IT Capsule in a tightly closed container.
• Keep it in a place with a temperature below 30°C.
• Protect it from moisture and direct sunlight.
