CompositionOzole D Capsule 20 is used to treat stomach acid-related conditions such as gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), acid reflux, and peptic ulcer disease. It relieves symptoms such as heartburn, acid indigestion, feeling sick, and regurgitation.
It combines omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes, with domperidone, a prokinetic agent that helps food move through the stomach and reduces regurgitation. Take the capsule on an empty stomach, generally before meals, as prescribed. Continue the course for the full duration advised, even if your symptoms improve early, to allow the digestive tract lining to heal.
Eating smaller meals, avoiding spicy or fatty foods, limiting caffeine and alcohol, and not lying down straight after eating can help reduce acid reflux symptoms alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any liver problems, low magnesium levels, or are taking other medicines, as some interact with proton pump inhibitors. Tell your doctor if you have difficulty swallowing, unexplained weight loss, or vomit that looks like blood, as these need to be checked before starting treatment.
