Onecan 50 Tablet 4 used for the management of oropharyngeal candidiasis and esophageal candidiasis. It is also effective in controlling vaginal candidiasis. Additionally, this dispersible tablet is prescribed for the prevention of fungal infections in immunocompromised patients. This lower-dose Fluconazole competes directly with other paediatric or lower-strength formulations of antifungals like Fungus or generic Fluconazole.

• Dissolve the tablet in a glass of water before taking it.

• Do not chew the tablet.

• It can be taken with or without food.

• Do not exceed the dosage recommended by your doctor.

Onecan 50 Tablet 4 contains fluconazole (50 mg), and its mechanism of action is as follows:

• Inhibition of cytochrome P450 enzyme: Fluconazole works by inhibiting a specific enzyme in fungi known as cytochrome P450 14α-demethylase. This enzyme plays a crucial role in the conversion of lanosterol into ergosterol.

• Disruption of fungal cell membrane: By inhibiting the production of ergosterol, a vital component of the fungal cell membrane, fluconazole causes an increase in membrane permeability. This results in leakage of cellular contents, leading to fungal cell death and thus halting the growth and spread of the fungal infection.

• Store Onecan 50 Tablet 4 below 30°C.
