Defza 6 Tablet 10

Defza 6 Tablet is used to manage inflammatory conditions such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), severe arthritis, and allergies. It contains Deflazacort, which suppresses the immune system to reduce inflammation and prevent tissue damage. This provides relief from pain, swelling, and rashes, improving quality of life for individuals with these conditions.

Follow the directions your pharmacist or doctor provided for using Defza 6 tablet. Below are the general instructions for reference. 

• Take the tablet with a glass of water.
• Swallow the tablet as a whole, do not crush or chew it.
• This medication can be taken with or without, but taking it at a fixed time is advisable.

• Defza 6 tablets can be taken orally.

• Defza 6 tablet is a prodrug. After entering the body, it is converted to the active form by binding to receptors to express anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects on the body. The anti-inflammatory effect is due to the inhibition of certain chemicals which cause inflammation. Immunosuppressive property reduces the sensitivity of the immune system.

• Store this medicine at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Defza 6 tablets away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Proper hygiene may be the probable cause of enlarged prostate. Avoid places and people which are not clean and may cause infection.

• A 4-6 weeks gap is required between a live vaccine and taking Defza 6 tablets. 
• Regular eye check-ups with function tests and bone mineral tests are mandatory while on this medication course.
