CompositionOflofresh 200 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, and certain sexually transmitted and gastrointestinal infections in adults, helping clear the infection and relieve associated symptoms.
It contains ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Take it as prescribed; complete the full course even if you start feeling better, as stopping early can let the infection return or lead to antibiotic resistance. Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
Avoiding excessive sunlight and using sun protection is advisable, as fluoroquinolones can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight. Gentle stretching before activity can help protect your tendons during treatment.
Tell your doctor about any history of epilepsy, tendon problems, kidney problems, or QT prolongation before starting, and about other medicines you take. Report any tendon pain or swelling, a fast or irregular heartbeat, or a severe skin reaction promptly.
