Odirab 20 Tablet 10

Odirab 20 Tablet is used to relieve symptoms caused by excess stomach acid, including acidity, heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux disease, by reducing acid production in the stomach.

Uses of Odirab 20 Tablet are:

• Acidity and Heartburn: Eases symptoms of excess stomach acid.
• GERD: Manages gastroesophageal reflux disease by reducing acid production.
• Indigestion: Relieves indigestion, sour stomach and discomfort after meals.
• Healing of Acid Damage: Promotes healing of acid-related irritation in the stomach and food pipe.

Here's how you should take Odirab 20 Tablet 10:

• Swallow Odirab 20 Tablet 10 whole with water. Do not chew, crush or split it.
• Take it as your doctor directs, ideally before a meal, and at the same time each day to help you remember.
• If you also take sucralfate, take Odirab 20 Tablet 10 at least 30 minutes before it.

Odirab 20 Tablet 10 is taken by mouth. Swallow it whole with water.

Odirab 20 Tablet 10 contains Rabeprazole 20 mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by:

• Switching off the acid pumps in the stomach lining, which lowers stomach acid and lets acid-damaged areas heal.

• Store the tablet below 30°C, in a cool, dry place away from light and moisture.
• Keep it out of the reach and sight of children.
• Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
• Ask your pharmacist about safe disposal of unused or expired medicine.

• Avoid foods and drinks that trigger your symptoms, such as spicy or fatty foods, caffeine and fizzy drinks.
• Eat smaller meals, avoid eating close to bedtime, and stay upright after meals.
• Keep a healthy weight and avoid smoking.
