Obmira 50 Er Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of overactive bladder

• Decreasing night-time urination

Follow these instructions while taking Obmira 50 Er Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly for best results.

• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Obmira 50 Er Tablet 10 contains mirabegron (50 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Beta-3 adrenergic receptor activation: Mirabegron selectively stimulates beta-3 adrenergic receptors found in the bladder's detrusor muscle, causing the muscle to relax during the storage phase of the urinary cycle.

• Bladder relaxation: By relaxing the bladder muscles, mirabegron increases the bladder's capacity to hold urine, reducing the frequency of involuntary bladder contractions that cause sudden urges to urinate.

• Increased storage capacity: This action helps the bladder store more urine comfortably, decreasing the need for frequent toilet visits and reducing episodes of urgency incontinence.

• Store Obmira 50 Er Tablet 10 in its original package at room temperature below 30°C.

• Limit caffeine intake from tea, coffee, and fizzy drinks as these can irritate your bladder and worsen overactive bladder symptoms.

• Practise pelvic floor exercises (also called Kegel exercises) regularly to strengthen the muscles that help control urination and reduce urgency and leakage.
