Igutoid 25 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of rheumatoid arthritis

• Management of autoimmune joint inflammation

• Reduction of joint pain and swelling

• Prevention of progressive joint damage

• Slowing down disease progression in arthritis

• Control of chronic inflammatory joint conditions

• Relief of morning stiffness in joints

• Improvement of physical function in arthritis patients

Follow these instructions while taking Igutoid 25 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day for best results.

Igutoid 25 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Igutoid 25 Tablet 10 contains Iguratimod (25 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Suppresses pro-inflammatory cytokines: Iguratimod reduces the production of substances called cytokines, including tumour necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) and interleukins, which are proteins that trigger inflammation and joint damage in rheumatoid arthritis.

• Modulates immune response: It helps regulate the abnormal immune system activity that causes the body to attack its own joints, thereby reducing the autoimmune response that contributes to rheumatoid arthritis.

• Prevents joint destruction: By inhibiting inflammatory pathways, iguratimod helps protect the joints from further damage, preserving joint structure and function over time.

• Store at room temperature (not exceeding 30°C).

• Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Store in the original packaging to protect the medicine.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Include foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids (like fatty fish and flaxseeds) in your diet, as these may help reduce inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis alongside your medicine.
