Novelon Tablet is an oral contraceptive used to prevent pregnancy. It also helps regulate irregular or painful menstrual cycles, manage heavy bleeding, improve hormonal balance, reduce acne, control excessive hair growth, relieve PMS symptoms, and lower the risk of functional ovarian cysts.

To use Novelon Tablet:

• Consult your doctor for specific advice on dosage and timing.
• Take one tablet daily at the same time each day for 21 days.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew or crush it.
• After completing one pack of tablets, take a 7-day break before starting the next pack.
• If you forget to take a tablet, take it as soon as you remember and continue with the rest of the pack. Use additional contraception if necessary.
• If you vomit within 3 hours of taking a tablet, consider it missed and follow the instructions for missed doses provided by your doctor.

Novelon Tablet is taken orally, which means you swallow it with water. It is not meant to be used externally or injected.

Novelon Tablet contains two active ingredients: ethinyl estradiol and desogestrel.

• Ethinyl estradiol is a synthetic form of estrogen hormone that helps regulate the menstrual cycle and prevents ovulation.
• Desogestrel is a progestin hormone that works by thickening the cervical mucus, making it difficult for sperm to reach the egg.
• Together, these hormones work to prevent pregnancy by suppressing ovulation, altering the uterine lining to make it less receptive to implantation, and thickening cervical mucus to inhibit sperm movement.

• Use the product before the expiry date mentioned on the package.
