NEWTEL AMH TABLET 10 is used to control high blood pressure in adults who need more than one medicine.

Uses of NEWTEL AMH TABLET 10 are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure in adults with hypertension.
• Combination Therapy: Used when single medicines have not controlled blood pressure well enough.
• Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: Helps reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.

• Swallow the tablet whole with sufficient water.
• Do not chew, crush, or split the tablet.
• Take it consistently at a fixed time every day, as directed by your doctor.

NEWTEL AMH TABLET 10 is taken orally.

NEWTEL AMH TABLET 10 works by combining the actions of three different active ingredients:

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This element selectively blocks angiotensin II from binding to specific receptors on the muscles lining your blood vessels. By doing so, it inhibits the constriction of these vessels. This leads to decreased resistance in your blood vessels and thus lowers blood pressure.
• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This ingredient helps increase the excretion of sodium, chloride, and water from your body by inhibiting their reabsorption in your kidneys. This action results in increased urine output and a reduced volume of fluids in your bloodstream, thus lowering blood pressure.
• Amlodipine (5 mg): This component inhibits the movement of calcium ions into your heart muscle and the muscles lining your blood vessels. The process widens these blood vessels, reducing blood pressure without affecting your heart rate.

• Store NEWTEL AMH TABLET 10 in a cool, dry place at a temperature below 25°C.
• Keep away from direct light and moisture.
• Always keep medicine out of the reach of children.
• Do not use the medicine after its expiration date.
• Do not remove the tablet from the strip until just before taking it, as these tablets are sensitive to moisture.

• Adopting a low-salt diet can help control high blood pressure. Try to limit your intake of processed foods, which often contain high salt levels.
• Regular, moderate exercise, such as walking or swimming, can also help to lower your blood pressure. Aim for at least 150 minutes of exercise a week.
